ペットを日本から連れて出国する際の手続きについて

ペット（特に犬・猫）を日本から連れて出国する際には、日本側の出国手続き（輸出検疫）と、渡航先国（または経由国）の入国要件の両方を満たす必要があります。

0. 渡航先国・経由国の要件確認

• 渡航先国には、日本とは別に「ペットの入国条件」があります（例：ワクチンの種類、接種間隔、抗体検査、寄生虫駆除、待機期間など）。

• 各国の動物検疫機関、大使館・領事館、または渡航国の日本大使館・領事館に事前確認を行ってください。

• 経由地がある場合は、経由地での入国／トランジット要件も確認が必要です。

1. 個体識別：マイクロチップの装着

• ペットには ISO 規格（ISO 11784／11785）のマイクロチップが求められることが多く、日本の輸出検疫でも個体識別手段として装着が通常要件です。

• すでに装着済みの場合は、番号の読み取りおよび照合が必要です。

• 当院では、マイクロチップの新規装着および読み取りの対応が可能です。

2. ワクチン接種および検査

• 狂犬病予防注射：多くの国で必須です。
  日本国内では、輸出前に動物検疫所で狂犬病（犬・猫）およびレプトスピラ症（犬の場合）に関する検査や処置が求められます。

• 渡航先国によっては、抗体検査（狂犬病抗体価検査、FAVN など）の提出を求められる場合があります。

※検体の送料および検査料は飼い主様のご負担となります。

• 一部の国では、複数回の狂犬病注射や、注射間隔・経過日数の条件が設けられています。

• ノミ・マダニ駆除、内部・外部寄生虫の処置を求められる場合もあります。

• ワクチン接種や検査は、渡航日から逆算して余裕を持って実施してください（例：抗体検査後に一定の待機期間が必要な場合など）。

3. 健康診断・健康証明書の取得

• 必要書類をご用意のうえ、ご予約をお願いいたします。

• 出発前に健康診断を行い、健康証明書（英文または指定言語）のひな形にワクチン接種記録、マイクロチップ番号等を記載します。

• 多くの国では、出発前数日以内（例：7日以内）に発行された証明書の提出が必要です。

0. Confirm the Requirements of the Destination and Transit Countries

• Each country has its own import regulations for pets (e.g., vaccine type, vaccination intervals, antibody testing, parasite treatment, and quarantine period).

• Please check with the relevant animal quarantine authority, the embassy or consulate of the destination country, or the Japanese embassy/consulate located in that country.

• If transiting through another country, check that country’s entry or transit requirements as well.

1. Identification: Microchip Implantation

• Pets are often required to have an ISO-standard microchip (ISO 11784/11785).
  In Japan, microchipping is also a standard requirement for export quarantine.

• If your pet already has a microchip, the identification number must be read and verified.

• Our clinic can provide both microchip implantation and ID verification.

2. Vaccination and Testing

• Rabies vaccination is mandatory in most countries.
  In Japan, the Animal Quarantine Service also requires tests and treatments for rabies (dogs and cats) and leptospirosis (dogs).

• Some destination countries require antibody testing (such as rabies antibody titer test or FAVN test).

※ The cost of laboratory testing and shipping of samples is borne by the owner.

• Certain countries require multiple rabies vaccinations, specific intervals, or a set waiting period after vaccination.

• Treatment for fleas, ticks, and internal or external parasites may also be required.

• Vaccinations and testing should be performed well in advance, counting backward from the departure date (some tests require a waiting period before travel).

• Please prepare all necessary documents and make an appointment in advance.

• A health examination will be performed, and the health certificate (in English or the required language) will include the vaccination record, microchip number, and other details.

• Many countries require that the certificate be issued within several days before departure (typically within 7 days, but varies by country).
